This comprehensive volume explores the biology of hypnosis and its applications in medicine, dentistry, and pain prevention and management. The closing chapter on ‘Evidence Based Hypnosis for Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery and Preterm Labor’ clarifies the importance of hypnosis in pain prevention and in supporting the well-being of mother and child.
